Stourview CofE Primary Academy was established in 2024 by Canonium Learning Trust, a trust dedicated to supporting small, rural, and village schools across North and Mid Essex. As the successor to Mistley Norman Primary School, Stourview marks the start of an exciting new chapter in local education.
As part of the School Rebuilding Programme, we are excited about our forthcoming state-of-the-art new building. In the meantime, our pupils continue to thrive in a modern modular facility, ensuring continuity and quality in their education throughout this exciting transition.

Our small primary school serves the Mistley community, along with children from the wider Manningtree and Lawford areas.

Stourview Pre-school
Our first milestone will be opening the new school, however we are also planning to open a pre-school. This will be located in the purpose built pre-school building right next to the school. We do not yet have a confirmed date for the opening of the pre-school, as we will require at least 10 children to open the setting. However, If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please get in touch.
